COMMENTS & PENALTIES
The team scores were reversed on the Score Sheets for The Weal Inn #2 vs American Legion #3 when they were sent to me. The stats were originally processed using the scores written on the sheets. Later I was notified that the scores were reversed and I was requested to refigure the standings using the corrected team scores. I was able to make this change on the website but the printed stats remain incorrect. It is very important to check your score sheets at the end of the night before you sign them. When you sign them you are attesting to their accuracy not just signing them to be signing something. When I figure your stats I do not go over your sheets first to see that there are no errors before I process them. I couldn't make any changes anyway. It is up to you to see that they are accurate before they get sent to me. Not only do your stats get published with errors, I have to do double work because I have to correct your errors and then re-publish your stats. |

Please use only BLACK pens or pencils when filling out your score sheets. Some Fax machines or scanners do not pick up the other colors good and I can't see what you've written down.
If you make a mistake on your score sheets please don't over write the number. Draw a line thru the incorrect number and write down the correct number next to it. Many times I can't tell what the correct number is when you keep writing over the wrong one trying to correct it. This is especially true when you Fax your sheets because the Fax just takes a picture of the page in Black & White.
In a Cricket game, when someone shoots a 9 Mark please record it on the same line as that player's name in the game they shoot it instead of recording it on the bottom of the score sheet. It will be easier for the scorekeeper to record the 9 Mark on that line instead of on the bottom of the sheet and easier for me to spot so that I don’t ignore recording it.
It is not necessary to circle or note
100's and above because my computer picks them up automatically as I'm entering your
scores.
When you fax in your sheets please be aware that the Fax Machines do not scan all the way to the bottom of the sheet. They leave about ½ inch that’s not picked up so anything you write close to the bottom of the sheet is not scanned.
If you scan your sheets
Scan them into a "4 page, Document, .PDF file"
Experiment with
using a Black and White versus a Color scan and determine which format creates
the smallest file size then use that format to scan your sheets into. Send the file to me as
an "attachment" to an Email.
