A deposit of $250.00 was made to Action Wear Outlet for shirts ordered for the NODA Board members. Each shirt cost $23.46 and members will pay $15.00 to help defray the cost.
Midyear Tournament will be held Feb 5, 1994. Mike and Tim will meet with the Manager to confirm date. 1 stereo and 3 dart boards will be raffled, free memberships, door prizes, 50/50 drawings, dollar box. Al Halley will purchase liquor. 3 1/2 barrels of Bud, 1 1/2 barrels of Miller Lite will be bought by Mike Burdett. Meat balls and wing dings will be bought with League monies and members will be asked to bring a dish to pass.
All portable boards were refurbished and bags to hold all supplies were made and designed by Debbie McQuillan. Each bag was numbered according to boards.
Team Captains were notified of problem with foul language and obscene gestures. Dart etiquette: Players will not pull darts until chalker marks down score. Also reminded to tip friendly waitress generously.

Date for Midyear Tournament will be checked out by Tim McQuillan. Tentative dates being Feb 5th or Feb 19th, 1994. Raffles for Tournament are 2 stereos, 50/50 box and dollar box. Luck of the Draw will pay off to 32 places. Total pay off being $1200.00. Shirley Swanek will be in charge of cash box. Shirley will also inquire on price of new cash box. Meat Balls and Chicken Wings will be supplied by League and members will bring a dish to pass.
Repairs on Tournament Boards to be done at Paul Arsenault's Nov 21st at noon.
Shirts for Board Members will have names on pocket or above. Position on Board will be placed on sleeve. They will be green bowling type shirts.
Rule Change - A player getting to match late will be allowed to play in remaining games. Joe Martin will write up clarification and Captains must note on Score Sheets and sign it.

Points Change - First Division format points for 1st game is changed to 2 points instead of 3 to eliminate the possibility of a tie.
Joe Martin, NODA Statistician has been given a pay increase.
Stan's dugout sponsors fee check bounced. They paid for 8 teams. They only have 7 teams so the League in good faith reimbursed them $160.00. Their check is supposed to clear the bank Oct 10, 1993.
Tim McQuillan and Val Leach will check back next meeting. Dan Whitmire to check on 180 hats.

Midyear Tournament to be run the same as last year.
The League has to sign up for the ADO before Jan, 1994. Tim to take care of this and also sign up for NODA renewal of ADO. Paul Arsenault is League's ADO Rep.

Captain Co-Captain signup meeting will be held at the Green Parrot, Sept 7, 1993. All venues received flyers and signup sheets. Also, Joe Martin sent out cards of notification to all past members. (The cost of mailing said cards was $93.69)
The cutoff date for new teams or any schedule changes will be Sept 21, 1993. New players will be screened on Mon Sept 13, 1993 at the Green Parrot @ 7:30 pm and Sept 20, 1993 at the Downtown Lounge @ 7:30 pm. All players being screened will play at least 3 games. September 28, 1993 7:30 pm Green Parrot. All score sheets, schedules and all written material pertaining to 93/94 season will be handed out to Captains/Co-Captains at that time.
Tim McQuillan is form tooling format sheets to go to the Speedy Printer on Williams Lake Rd and M-59. Tim will also meet with the lawyer and incorporate the League in good standing.
1st Div changes have been made. 2nd & 3rd Div format to stay the same. 4th Div games 1 and 7 point values have been switched. Should we have a 5th Div, 4th Div will play 3rd Div format.
Players fees will be increased due to increase in operating expenses. Sponsor fees will stay the same.

Mike Burdett inquired about the cost of a Silk Screen for the NODA logo. A one time cost of $75.00. It was also decided to buy shirts for the Board Members.
Paul Basigkow resigned from the NODA Board.
Article IV - Section 3 of the NODA Bylaws will read as follows: All Board members will be elected on a Yearly basis. The election will be a written vote and dropped in a ballot box at the Year End Banquet.
Section 4 will read as follows: Captains will be informed at the Midyear Captains meeting that written nominations will be accepted by the NODA Board at the Midyear tournament. As each member casts their private vote their name will be crossed off the roster as having voted to ensure one vote per member.
Game Changes - Score sheets to be ordered, possible changes to score sheets discussed. Boxes bigger, games numbered, formats changed at least for 1st Div. 1st Div, 5th game change to 4 man 1001 - 3 pts, game 12 to 2 man Cricket to 12 - 3 pts
An additional paragraph is needed for
1st Division rules. It will read as follows:
If only 4 men are fielded games 5 & 12 will be forfeited.
If only 3 men are fielded games 5, 12, 13, 15 are forfeited.

The installation of Tim McQuillan to Treasurer was done with the transfer of checks and signatures from Steve Trottier. Thanks Steve for doing a good job these past two years.
Mike Burdett welcomed the new Board of Directors and summarized what he would like to accomplish in the coming year.
Bylaws
- Article IV - Section 3 will read as

Mike Burdett will purchase shirts for Paul Arsenault and Jana Baringer to wear at the Regional Playoff in Toledo, Ohio.

The Teams were put in venues for the second round of Lutz Curry. Joe Martin will call Captains and mail the schedules.
There were four members who shot a 180 in the first round of Lutz Curry. Ray Lovins, Mike Lutterbei, Paul Wheaton and Scott Halley. Patches were sent to each player.
NODA League will sponsor two men and two women at the Challenge of the Champions Tournament. Marge Froling will call Jule Keller to confirm her sponsorship.
The ADO All Star shoot will be April 28, 1993. The men will shoot out of Century Bowl and the women will shoot out of the VFW.
The Board will use the Eagles catering service for the Banquet due to the time element in getting a caterer to do it in such short notice.
There will be 10 portable boards at the banquet. They will be transported by Dan Whitmire and Paul Basigkow.

Rich McClelland confirmed the Banquet as being May 1, 1993 at the Waterford Eagles.
Bids are being taken for catering for the Banquet to see what the best menu is and of course the best price.
Flyers were sent out to all Captains for the Moe Crook Memorial for the 4th & 5th Division players. This will take place Saturday April 3, 1993 at the Century Bowl.
The Board voted to have Paul Arsenault as our ADO Rep. All information from ADO to be sent to Paul. He will advise us of future events as soon as possible.
Flyers to be sent to all Captains informing them of the banquet, menu. Guests will be $10.00 a plate. Also, nominations for officers with a secret ballot at the banquet. Nominations and number of guests to be sent to the PO box at least 2 weeks before banquet.

Board members were given assignments for the Midyear Tournament. Mike Burdett is to purchase food, Steve Trottier to buy Mountain Bike and stereo for the raffles, Paul Basigkow to obtain a lease vehicle from Al Deitricks to transport portable boards to the K of C Hall, Dan Whitmire to assist Paul with boards. Al Halley to buy liquor. Steve Trottier to also buy trophies. Kathy Perigo and Shirley Swanek to help set up kitchen and sign up members for events. Sher Martin offered her help in the kitchen or where ever she is need. All members to help sell tickets for the beverages.
Six portable boards were made for the Midyear giving the League a total of 20 portable boards. 4 new dart boards were also bought.

Steve Trottier to call John Theobald to aquire the ADO Representative's name for our region to send in yearly dues for NODA.
A protest was made by Ed Ross about points being assessed to his team for a late postage date. The Board voted to give team back points due to the Christmas mail rush.
Rule Change - Revised mailing rule was made by the Board. Under Captain's responsibilities (Rule C) will read as follows: Score sheets must be postmarked by Tuesday in order to have the individual standings every two (2) weeks.
As of 1-5-93 new players will be interviewed by their division coordinators and three Board approvals must be obtained before a player is placed on a team.
Mike Burdett will contact MDO Representative Glen Conklin about members list to be sent to ADO.
An inventory of portable boards to be
done at Paul Arsenault's and repair to be done to get them ready for the Midyear
Tournament. Four new boards to be purchased. 8 chalk boards also to
be bought. A total of 20 boards will be set up for Midyear. A menu
of wing dings, meat balls in mushroom sauce. Members will bring a dish to
pass. refreshments will consist of 4 kegs of beer, vodka, rum, whiskey and
wine 1/2 gal.
Raffles and 50/50 drawings.
The format will be Larry Kantzer Hi/Lo, 501 Elimination, Four Man Hi/Lo, 801 and
Cricket to 12.
Luck of the Draw fee will be $5.00 and pay to 16 positions with a purse of
$1,000.00. The doors will open at 12 noon and the matches will begin at
1:00 pm. The food will be served at about 5:00 pm.
Midyear Captains and Co-Captains will be held at the Green Parrot on January 26, 1993 @ 7:30 pm.
