Downloading the Tournament Program

Dart Tournament Program.zip  (Initial Installation)

Step 1: Using Windows Explore, create a folder on your hard disk (Drive C) entitled C:\Darts   (Right Click Start/Left Click Explore then single click on the "C" drive in the left column to select it.  Click on File/New/Folder in the menu on the top of the screen.  The new folder appears in the right pane.  Rename this new folder to C:\Darts. )

Step 2: Click on the above link to Download the Dart Tournament program.Zip file.  Save it into the C:\Temporary folder.

Step 3: Open your WinZip program (or another unzipping program), browse to the C:\Temporary folder and unzip (extract) the Dart Tournament Program.zip file's contents into the C:\Darts folder.

Step 4: Using Windows Explore, browse to the Tournaments-A.exe file in your C:\Darts folder and double click on it.  This opens the tournament program.

Step 5: If you wish to place a shortcut icon on your desktop, using Windows Explore,  right click on the Tournaments-A.exe file in your C:\Darts folder and select "Create Shortcut".  Drag the newly created Shortcut up to the "Desktop" folder at the top of the left column listings.  The Shortcut should now appear on your desktop.  To rename the Shortcut: Right click on the Shortcut on your desktop and select "Rename".  Change it's name to something like "Dart Tournaments".  If you wish to change the picture that's on this icon, Right Click the icon and select Properties.  Click on "Change Icon" and then Browse to the C:\Windows\System32\shell32.dll & moricons.dll folder.  Select the icon you would like to use.  Click on "OK" then click "Apply" then click "OK".

Periodically over the weeks and months as you use your Tournament Program click on Help and view the version number of the program to see if you have the latest version. If your version is lower than this version then click on the file below to upgrade to Tournament Program Version 1.1.4322.2032 only after the initial installation.  Save it into the C:\Temporary folder.

Using your unzipping program browse to the C:\Temporary folder, select this file and extract this zipped program to the C:\Darts folder overwriting the existing file.

Note: Upgrading this Tournament Program will not overwrite your Names/Address database or the seeding files included with the initial installation program so you will not lose the data you have built since the Initial Installation.  These files are not included here.  However, if you reinstall the Initial Installation files everything will be overwritten.
